This is an audiobook version of Sam Konkin's pamphlet "Tax is Theft! (and what to do about it)" read by Mike Gogulski of nostate.com. This brochure was originally written and published for the Movement of the Libertarian Left (MLL) by the late Samuel Edward Konkin III. This new edition has been minimally edited by Wally Conger.
Correction: libertarian shit.
I don't remember communists ever advocating the abolition of taxation.

Quite correct - nothing is farther from the total state control of communism than the libertarian advocacy of individual responsibility.
The 2nd item listed on the platform in the Communist Manifesto is "A heavy progressive or graduated income tax."
And to correct rambam1776: Communism = STATELESS (and classless) society. The lack of state is the single most defining feature of a communist society.
A stateless society can obviously never have "total state control". That's absurd.
What you're probably talking about is "dictatorship of the proletariat" which in _leninistic_ theory is ment to be a temporary state socialism.

Wow, thanks for the Konkin ups - this, the primer and the manifesto. You are the man.
Actually, any chance of anyone seeding this? Been up for 24 hours, not a byte.
